1. I guarantee you could learn to do what's described if you cared enough ;)

It's a lot like this exercise ... clench all five fingers together and hold them up and out 1.5 feet from your line of sight. Now with each hand, make the same-size circles in opposite directions, meeting/crossing each other at the bottom of the motion.

In this vid the kid on the right is pretty close by the end of the vid. But try to do it really tight, like 6" diameter circle right in front of your eyes, hands crossing perfectly at top and bottom.

It's totally possible but it takes a while to learn for most people. 5-20 mins I'd guess. What's trippy is once you learn, you can always do it.

Kinda like making the Live Long and Prosper sign.

I tried it, and you're right. What an odd phenomenon. I wonder what motivated someone to try it in the first place.

It's like patting your head and rubbing your stomach. I think one could learn to do it, but I'm just glad I can lift my leg.

Soon as I sped up a little though the foot really wanted to go counterclockwise so bad it just made an awful mess of things.

Fun!

I also never had a problem with the ol' rub the tummy/pat the head thing.
