For Christ's sake!

Several of my neighbors have received unsolicited KJV Red Letter Edition bibles in the mail. The envelopes they come in don’t have any markings other than the recipients address.

On the plus side, I haven’t gotten one.

Sounds like another Bill Gates false flag operation to me. Maybe the vax chips are failing.

Words in Red. Seems they skip those most of the time and always quote the OT.

Jesus: Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.

Jesus: He that hath no sword, let him sell his garment, and buy one.

Jesus: The children shall rise up against their parents, and cause them to be put to death.

He used to do teachings, where he quoted all the most beautiful stuff - and concluded: Jesus was a pacifist. Then he turned the table on his listeners with all the nasty stuff, Jesus is also quoted for - and concluded: Jesus was a brutal war maker like his Father.

After this he said it was possible to be a devoted Christian, without blindly swallowing what the preachers picked from their Bibles - and asked people to select their very own Jesus in the Bible.

A very fine guy - but he never made me believe in it though.

religion. I suggest you read Misquoting Jesus by Bart Ehrman. Very good take on the Scriptures. If you are interested in that kind of thing.

... incompetent scribes and the difficulties of rendering oral traditions into a written text ...

And it made me forgive all the rubbish they have put into Paul the Apostle's work. His writing is mostly just so beautiful. And his prose is known all over the world, for the simple message: "All you need is love".
