While the pythons are a problem, they aren't the reason the Everglades is dying. Ferrets are Cool Jun 2021 #5

I know this is going to sound bad but I truly believe it's what should happen. Should have been given to the FWC.

DeathSantis recently launched an Everglades python derby to catch and kill as many as possible, so that python with the skin cream being applied might get a $50 bounty.

Presently the Glades are full of open carry/concealed carry gunners looking for kills. They have their forehead mounted headlights to attract the mosquitoes, a couple of six packs, and they think they are going to put a dent in the runaway python takeover of the forever damaged Everglades. Fat chance.

The python roundup has been going for a long time and is a great effort. Very educational and each year they remove a lot of harmful and non-native snakes.

Greed is the cause of that.

I had a boa girl named
Kali,she was a rescue.
She was the sweetest snake ever. Here's a
couple of pictures of her. She grew to be 8 ft.long. I still miss her.
