I got my hair cut today!

First time since fall of 2019. My friend is a retired stylist and has cut my hair for years. We are both vaccinated, so I went to her house and probably lost 5 lbs. lol When I got home, I changed clothes and showered, and had a shot of vodka. So I'm cleaned up and half in the bag!

But this was a long time, even for me I wore my hair long from about age 19 to age 32, and I don't know how I did it for so many years.

9. after years of foiling i didnt know how gray I had gone, so i bleached it at the beginning of

..lock down and dyed it pink and Ive had it that way ever since but LORDY do I need a cut! Just not ready to have strangers touch me yet.

13. i have had 1 hair cut since 1998

and that was just to trim off some spilt ends around 2002.


Nature has been pruning the rest. I can use the smallest pony-tail thingy now. It's almost pointless but sometimes one of the three hairs I have left does get in my face and it bugs me when I'm driving.

After I got my second Moderna shot I was counting down the days until I reached my full immunization. My hair had gotten to the point that it was a long, unruly mess. I was washing it regularly, but I felt a bit self-conscious each of the rare times I would venture out in public. I must have been beaming under my mask when I strolled out of Great Clips. I felt much more human and much less Sasquatch.
