Forecast for 113! in Portland Oregon Sunday. UPDATE!! 117!! Monday

This is insane.

Never heard a forecast that high for this area-ever.

As of Friday PM still doing ok I went to check for a update....

Down to 111 on Sunday and shows 117 for Monday?

I think the figure is about 1/3.

We got tired of hauling the window units out of the basement each year and installing them of the first and second floors, so we had central AC put in about 5 years ago. I don’t regret it, even if we only click it on a couple of times a year. Luckily we’d thought ahead and had the appropriate unit out inside the furnace area years ago when we installed the furnace.

I like about living here in Albuquerque. And of course having air at home and in the car helps!

This is thoroughly insane for this area. I've never seen anything like it.

And it's been such a perfect, mild, gorgeous spring too. {sigh}

At least we have an AC box for the bedroom. Most are not so lucky around here.
