I thought I'd missed the firefly's bc I thought they started; n mid-June
But my sis just messaged me earlier to tell me she just saw her first one. She lives near a park.
I'm visiting her next week in late afternoon for a fairly long get togther, so I might get to see them! 👍😌

sometime in 1000 BC, we used to see the entire block lit up with lightning bugs. Not as much now, HOWEVER.....this year has been more than I've seen in a while.
