I've been rewatching DS off and on on various streaming channels for the past few years, and one thing hasn't changed -- I still loathe Barnabas!

Watching it now the acting was so over the top.

I think maybe because of the time difference (we lived in Hawaii when it first came on) it was on during school so we used to take turns being "sick" so we could tell the other kids on the bus what happened.

20. I LOVED Dark Shadows.

I used to attend the DS conventions when they had them in NYC (they would alternate from NY one year to CA the following year). The Syfy channel used to air DS on a loop, from beginning to end and hen they would start again.

Miss them.

may only have the first two syndicated seasons, last I looked. Tubi TV has from episode 210 (Barnabas released from his coffin) to the final season, which takes place in 1841 parallel time.

22. I was almost 15

and my best friends were almost 14. We had to walk about 3/4 mile from where the school bus dropped us off, and we'd run as hard as we could, so we could watch the last 15 minutes of each show. We'd go to my house, because it was closest, and my older sister had it on. We still laugh about how much we loved that show

We watched the movie based on the soap a few years ago. The movie was okay, but didn't capture the essence of the soap. imho

I saw a couple of episodes on streaming a couple of years ago. I couldn't believe how bad the production values were. It had all the quality and verve of a Turkish superhero flick. It was laughable...
