3. Sadly, recently I avoid one of my best friends for this very reason.

A friend for decades - a really nice guy, but in the last few years he keeps harping at me for my lack of "religion".

My religious beliefs, or lack of them, should not be others concern imo unless I promote my point of view, which I do not.
One's beliefs are their own, and entitled to privacy to my way of thinking.

Another friend, who I tried to explore why he felt it was ok to deceive/steal simply said - "God will forgive me!"

Sumthin' wrong there . . .
