The DU Lounge
Related: Culture Forums, Support ForumsTwo firsts, for me, at a doctor appt, today
My first EKG (perfectly normal, BTW) and my first 'mini cognitive' test, which I passed with FLYING COLORS. My reflexes work just fine, my gut is making the appropriate noises, my lungs and arteries are making no inappropriate noises, and even my ear canals are nice and clean.
Now, if I can just get a handle on this rip roaring anxiety problem, I'd be the perfect specimen of a well aging, feisty female.
Did the dr. have suggestions about the anxiety?

(10,016 posts)I had to complete a depression assessment (who wasn't a little bit depressed after quarantine?), a fall risk assessment because I'm 70+, and was asked if I felt "safe" with my partner (well YES, which I would possibly not have said about my late ex).
