I grew up in AZ and always buzzed my own hair due to the heat, always in the pool, etc. I have screwed up my hair many times. When young and older.

Since Covid, I’ve been back to doing it myself again. I have far less “room to work with” these days.

8. Just got done doing the same.

I just go over my entire head with a 5/8" guard. Have not been to a stylist since the pandemic. Hairlines are a little tricky, but I'm getting better. I occasionally screw up though as well.

12. I use what ever the #3 guard is as well and the right and left ear trimmers.

If it makes look fuglier then I already am people are just going to have to get over it.
