... judicial appointments and election winners do seem to know the law and the Constitution.

It's something to see, the GOP seems to want to write laws that will end up in courts thinking they'll get their judicial rulings, and the courts keep throwing it back to GOP saying to tighten up their writing of their laws. They may even want the same things, but neither side wants to be seen as the last word.

Sometimes I think of all these lost law-suits and destroyed legal careers, mainly over their misconception that they get the last word about everything, all they need to do to stop the process is to just deny the majority voice. It wasn't all about policy, it was much more about owning Democrats and PoC. And getting dibs on the trickle-down.
