I was worried about Sootie, last night. She seemed, well, not exactly lethargic but not as active as usual. And she didn't eat as much as she has been. But, this morning finds her full of energy and with a RAVENOUS appetite, so I am beyond relieved. I think maybe yesterday's company might have been a bit much, for her. She's the most shy of the itter.
And now for the photos. Not sure if the first is Sootie or Smokey because they are almost identical. Smokey is a tiny bit fluffier and a slightly lighter shade of gray so they have to be side by side for me to tell the difference. Then, a pic of the full throated meowing of Madoc. Gives you a good view of those chompers. And finally, you can see why Squeaky is so hard to photograph. And, his eyes photograph really weird. Trust me - his they quite normal. I'll definitely get some better ones of him, tomorrow. Maybe I'll have someone hold on to him, outside. He is a real heartbreaker.

(26,269 posts)Smokey, the fluffier one, was the one who did most of the hissing, spitting and swatting, for the first couple of days and Sootie sort of half heartedly followed suit. Now they have the sweetest demeanors and the softest little meows.
Squeaky, on the other hand, is the smallest but has the LOUDEST meow. Lasts night I joked he might have a Napoleon complex.
The pictures to my wife shes in love with the gray kitten. kitty

(6,594 posts)I ask because 1 of our 3 cats has never meowed like a regular cat, she only squeaks. When she wants attention she comes looking for us, squeaking & purring.

(26,269 posts)He's so tiny and, when he wants attention, his voice is so loud. It's really funny. The other three have relatively soft mews, unless they want attention but even then it's still not nearly as loud as Squeaky.
