(1,817 posts)2. Our neighbor had a cat Socks
He and my cat were buddies.
Our neighbor got a dog that they did not like and he would spend more and more time at our house.
I woke up from a nap after surgery, he was sleeping on top of me.
He would hide in our basement so he could spend the night.
They hated the cat across the street. We would come home to find the two of them, on top of our roof, just sitting watching the neighborhood making sure the hated cat did not cross the road.
I loved that cat !

So happy this neighborhood appears to be free of speeding cars!
Lucky neighbors who get to spend time with Oliver.
