They just randomly show up on my FB feed.

I don't know who the artist is, but this one is so visually similar to the ballerina it's possible the same person made them both.

My family are all stoners.

Spend hours walking the beach looking for the best.

Found a bunch of Petoskey Stones this summer along the Lake Michigan shore.

Not Petoskey Stones, but an inveterate stoner…mostly on Minnesota’s Lake Superior shores. Hours and hours on different beaches up there.

Back home, here in south central MN, I collect huge hunks of limestone, that my home town is known for, and landscape the heck out of my yard, and the yards of family members that will let me have my way with their patch.

Confession: I don’t know what Petoskey Stones are, so I’m looking forward to a little research.

Fossilized coral from when Lake Michigan was a warm sea.

It beats to hell the heaps of garbage (literal & figurative) that pass for "art" at Tate Gallery et al.

Before I question your post, I'd like for you to explain why you think the 'Tate Gallery et al.' has heaps of garbage art.

it's spectacular. I want to give you credit if so.

If not, I'd love to give the artist credit. It's a fabulous image.

The composition, the color, and the relativity are just spectacular. It reminds me of the family in the middle east, in particular: Afghanistan.

One thing I love about DU is the variety of topics. Deadly serious stuff along with art that warms my heart.
