Did I miss anyone thing?

In reality, i believe it was down to short range thinking. No chips were needed because they stopped producing cars during the shit downs. And people weren’t in the buying mood. And the car manufacturers seemed unable to think beyond 2020 and do put their chip orders on hold.

The limited chips for ford are mostly going into pre ordered cars

We need to produce the chips in this country so we aren’t dependent on other countries for production

(My dil is an assistant manager at a ford dealership)
