Just Got a Scam Phone Call....Somewhat Different..Here Is How that one was different..

...At the end of the phone call...informing me that I had done something illegal with my phone.....

....................The message said...."Press 1, for the next available officer""...........

....................Like I was getting a call from the local police department about something I did.........................

....................Although I hung up immediately, the stupid fools at the other end....didn't know that it was illegal
to pose as a ...".police officer".......in order to carry out a scam phone call....................


THE BOTTOM LINE:......LIKE SO MANY OTHERS, THE FOOLS THAT MADE THE CALL....WERE SURE.......

......................................"THAT THEY WERE GOING TO GET AWAY WITH IT".............................

................ Yes, .it really is that simple....."Sure they were going to get away with it...............

1. I doubt that people who make scam phone calls ...

I doubt they care if they cross the line by impersonating a police officer.

"If you don't respond, we will have to take legal action." "This is US Customs, we have seized something with your name on it." I'm sure the numbers are cloned so no use reporting.

7. Criminal civil suit

One told me I was going to get a criminal civil suit filed against me. I guess they couldn't make up their minds which.

My favorite is still the one that said "the state cops" (yes, they used the word "cops" ) were going to come arrest me if I didn't return their call. XD

please note : when the caller is asked to speak to his supervisors .
listen to the names he gives , captain back lt. greene . major white .
all those are from a tv show i watched as a kid called captain scarlett and the mysterons . we are the voice of the mysterons , can you hear us earthling?

5. Yup, had quite a few of those calls in the last couple of weeks......damn.

Kinda scary at first, then just remember DON’T respond at all. Scam, scam, scam.

6. I live in England

I keep getting calls saying that there is illegal activity linked to my National Insurance Number and if I don’t respond, a warrant for my arrest will be issued.

Well. I’m retired and here on a spouse visa. I don’t have a National Insurance Number. This has gone on for over two years. I’ve not been arrested.
