(15,143 posts)I was living in an apartment on Pacific, street parking only. In the middle of the night I heard a crash, but went back to sleep. The next morning, I went out to find my car half way on the curb and the back end smashed in. As I stood there in shock, the security guard for the small hotel next door came out and handed me a license plate. Hit and run. The plate fell off the car.
The police cracked up when I went into the station to report the accident. They caught the guy. He tried to hide it. His public defender called me and threatened me if I didn't drop the charges............. But that's another story.

I hope she had consequences because she was really vile in the way she treated me. Used the "F" word repeatedly - in only one phone call.

dipshit thought it would be fun to drive on the lawn. Karma bit him on
the ass big time. Massive oil leak up the street around half way along the
Avenue.. Night time episode. Wonder how that was explained away?

Cop: do you know anything about those smashed cars back there?
Coworker: nope
Cop: pulls coworkers bumper with plate attached out of his back seat.
Coworker: doh!
