I got a call from the "Medicare Department." He was thickly accented and I made him repeat that "department" a couple of times. There isn't any such thing. I asked "what is this about?" It is benefits from Medicare that I'm going to get.

I interrupted him and said I wasn't interested and don't call again. He says "F*ck you" as plain as day. I said what? He then hangs up.

He stole my line!

The curse was well pronounced.

1. I got one of those today

(I don't usually answer the phone - but was expecting a painter to call me back)

When he said "Medicare benefits", I screamed at him and said "You are a crook and you should just go and die."

Damn, but I'm tired of that.

I'm sure I'll be able to land a good new warranty on my 1990 Volvo though.

when you're WAITING for a call - an appointment, a return call, etc. - and you just don't recognize the caller, but you don't DARE miss the call you've been waiting for for about 3 to 5 hours!

I hate that. I just hold the phone and wait to see if anyone starts talking to see if I recognize them. Usually they just hang up, then I google the number on my computer. I have decided that I will just start laughing hysterically until they hang up from now on, no words, just cackling.

4. I was feeling punchy a few weeks ago when I received a call from one...

I feigned being quite concerned about the jail time hewas threatening When he told me he had a pen ready to take down my info, I said "Good. Now take it and shove it up your..." Quite out of character for me, I must admit. He told me "F*** you! Go 9/11!" At which point, my unconscious bias welled up verbally in a very ugly way that I won't share. These people are pure evil.
