I'd probably be relieved to finally get "Goodbye Girl" out of my head. I heard it a few days ago and it keeps invading my brain.

I enjoyed the movie all those years ago. I've just had enough of it being stuck in my brain.

an earworm of a latter-day version of "Yummy, Yummy, Yummy" or some other bubblegummy song of the late 60's.

No thanks.

The preteens up stairs have fallen in love with this song. Come on, join the mental pain of this earworm with me.

They play it during the day and IT won't leave my head at night!

It's 10: 17 in the morning and it has started. I keep thinking, "Did I do this when I was that age"?

I probably did. I liked the Top Gun soundtrack a lot and Prince's Purple Rain record.

It's not that they are playing it late at night. Guess I'm becoming that old lady that yell at kids to get off the lawn.

You got this.
Now you know it.”
