These two boys were trying their best to shred me, this morning

But now that the brothers need their human cat bed - all is expected to be forgiven. Obvious, all is. The sisters are still on a tear, although a subdued one. They sat on my lap for about a minute and I even got a few kisses, but then they spotted a cardboard box that needs to be explored.

5. All four of them were napping on my lap, this afternoon

With their batteries recharged, they are back to going strong but not quite as aggressive as they were, this morning. I actually googled 'kitten rough play' to make sure this behavior was normal. Well, it is, and much needed for their socialization and development. So, I'll endure, avoid their little claws and teeth, and enjoy watching their antics. Sophie and Boudicca were well past this age when I took them in so this is a whole new experience for me.

That being said, I really need a nap!

11. Madoc (black and white) is definitely staying with me. Squeaky (black) is moving to Chicago

There's a chance one of the girls will be joining Squeaky. I will keep the other as a companion for Madoc. Hopefully Sophie will relax a little when there are fewer kittens, although she will be in the same room with them, now. She just doesn't want them getting TOO close to her.

All four are having a post dinner snooze. Of course, on my lap. I put them up, for the night, right around 7 and then I can make something for supper and sit down without 4 kittens on my lap.
