When Jack Ryan is vice president and a Japanese terrorist flew into the Capitol when the president and cabinet were there with Congress. Clancy was super paranoid about Japan back then.
I remember when 9/11 happened, some commentator said, "No one ever considered flying a plane into building," and I thought, "Well, except for Tom Clancy "
There's little that fiction writers and comics haven't thought up.
