I stumbled upon the release date for Discovery last night and also saw the Picard preview as I was surfing the Web.

I'll be watching all of the series along with tonight's episode of Lower Decks. Odd thing happened last week when I went on Facebook and one of my friends posted a meme asking "f you are getting married and you invited the cast of the last TV show you watched, who would be attending. I guess that I'll have to ask Commander Jack Ransom to be best man since he probably looks best in a suit.

A piece of trivia for you, Jerry O'Connell who provides the voice for Commander Ransom in Lower Decks is married to Rebecca Romijn who portrays #1 in Discovery.

12. Yes, the Borg queen is being used in order for the Sirena crew to time travel back to the past.

John DeLancie was in the video clip, but he has gray hair and a beard now. He is the character that snaps his fingers to set everything into motion that changes the timeline. It appears that he is also on 21st century Earth later in the video and he is about to snap his fingers again. I suspect that DeLancie will appear throughout the season to throw obstacles and provide occasional clues since Q was never content to sit on the sidelines and observe.

Ooooh I so loved the Borg Queen. Alice Krige was SO good in that role. Loved her. Q was always one of my favorite characters as well. I have seen other Q's but John DeLancie is the best! Now I am really upset, I thought we were going to get this THIS year. Oh well, something to stay excited over. With Dune and the new GOT series coming up there is plenty to look forward to.

EDIT to add, the new Wheel of Time looks incredible too, I saw a trailer yesterday. WOW!
