The DU Lounge
Related: Culture Forums, Support ForumsI find myself catching up with the childhood I wanted but never got.
Bright colored clothes, catching up on the Hero movies (and all the others I never got to see), playing online games, just hanging.
I really didn't get to not be a little adult. Now everything is done, got bills that are automatically paid from my account, if I feel like I don't want to go to the store ,got money to order food online. The apartment laundry is next door so not hard to get that done.I even have a parter in being a kin again.
So if ya don't see me posting a lot it's because I'm being a kid.

(14,120 posts)All this free time has been a lot to get use to. But I'm getting into the swing of it.
There are times I want up, take a look at the clock and think I'm going to be late for work. I go to rush to get ready and my body reminds painfully that I'm retired.

(24,103 posts)you are also still every age you have ever been. I'm 68 today, but I'm also 35, 16, 50, 8, etc.
Thinking this way takes some of the worry out of getting old.
