(3,055 posts)He looked too well fed, and took to being handled way to easily for a feral cat.
I had a stray living under my house for a while. No way he was feral...somebody moved and didn't take him with them. I guess he decided he liked what was left in the cat food cans I was putting in the recycling bins outside, so one night he just showed up on the deck. We started feeding him out there, and he was fine with it for a while. As soon as the weather started to cool at night, he decided it was time to come inside, and let his feelings be known by hanging on the screens.

(2,769 posts)Fell in love with him at first sight anyway... he didn't have to persuade me very much... (gryn). I'm such a pushover. Hubby says the cats have every tree marked for miles around "this way to the sucker"... hehehhe

(5,810 posts)But the truth is I never met a kitty I didnt like. At this stage of my life, I do not have any pets, but I still love looking at cats/kittens. If it is a ginger kitty, that is even better. Carlton was one lucky puss-cat.
