Irati Forest, Spain
The Irati Forest is the second largest and best-kept beech and spruce forest in Europe. Dense beech forests, pastures, fir trees and water make the landscape vibrant with colors that change with every season.

Night Piece by Juan Ramón Jiménez
My thought goes back to the land,
the olive groves at sunrise
outlined sharply in the white
or golden or yellow moonlight,
that look forward to the coming back
of those humans who are neither its slaves nor its masters,
but who love it anyway . . .
Spanish poet Juan Ramón Jiménez (1881-1958) became a well respected and beloved poet who was also awarded the Nobel prize for literature in 1956.
