Thank you. He has had a longer life than it looked in the beginning and I do hope he gets to fly somewhat longer

(70,450 posts)5. You can see that kind of injury on a lot of monarchs towards the end of their life.
Although one generation just about now will get together in swarms and migrate to some fir trees
in the mountains in central Mexico. Very doubtful that boy will be able to make the trip with his
prosthetic wing. Hopefully he helped to make some new monarchs when he was out and about.
