"Mare of Easttown" HBO. Highly recommended. No spoilers.

My wife started watching this at lunch (still working at home). I joined in and then went back to fill in.

This is not an easy watch. Kate Winslett (almost unrecognizable) is a detective on a murder case.
The core of her story is not pretty at all. Several of her former teammates on the high school basketball team are still in the picture.

Again, I highly recommend it. One season - 7 hourlong episodes. I’m reading about a season 2 but I don’t see how that’s possible.

Found it very realistic. Ordinary homes and people without any polish at all. We almost felt like voyeurs it was so realistic.
