It's almost as if he knows our time together is coming to an end. His new mom is SOOOOO lucky to be adopting this sweet boy.

(26,177 posts)I just have no doubt little Squeaky wouldn't still be here, had I not found them. He still has some food insecurity but it's not nearly as significant as it was, at first.
The friend who is adopting him met him on the very first day. I was still scrambling with all four, trying to figure out what I was doing. She honed right in on Squeaky, picked him up and gave him a long, long snuggle. I think that gave him such a sense of comfort and security. Then she gave me a look that told me - well, I found him a home!

(26,177 posts)I think she's also going to be moving to Chicago with Squeaky. That's probably the best choice since she's not super feisty so she's a good match with him.
I'll have my hands full with the other two, but that's fine. They are really sweet, too. Just a bit more rambunctious.
