(4,339 posts)side of our newly-wed sofa 50 years ago - replacement fabric was still available and repaired. Both are now long-gone across the bridge. He also chewed the rungs through on every one of the vintage dining suite chairs that once belonged to my grandmother circa 1929. Never again had teething woes with any other furbabies! Can't have a howling beagle in a kennel in an apartment. The whole floor knew we had a pup; no one ratted on us though. Moved out soon after. Yeah, sweet puppy!

(972 posts)Gosh the car with the paint! Really all of them.
Went to the grocery store once and got 2 each of 2 L sodas and large yogurts and put the bag in the back seat. Somehow it tipped over and the
explosion shall we say
created a veritable destruction of said items barely contained by the bag.
You know you just stand there for awhile looking at it with both wonder and dread.
Also had puppy destruction of a soft chair and a floor.
Memories!

It isn't a stereotype. I saw this with my own eyes many times.

To the plus side, after about 2 hours my oven has never been cleaner. I even cleaned the floor under the drawer which I hadn't done in longer than I care to admit.
I also discovered the way to clean the glass in my oven door was though some slots in the bottom of the door! Who knew?
