Speaking off local bands that did or didn't make it.....

Local Michigan band that did make it nationally, Brownsville Station. They played at college dorms, local clubs in my area for years. After I retired, I had a part time job in a local antique mall. A guy came in and bought a cheap plastic cowboy guitar, so I start up a conversation with him. Told me he collects guitars. I asked if he plays and he said yes and use to be in a band. Then says he played bass for Brownsville Station. Told him my friends mom was friends with Cubby's mom and went to her for hair cuts. He smiled and said yup, that's what she did. Also I saw him play lots of times.

Martian Boogie was one of my old guitarists’s favorite songs. He was from Michigan, of course.

Haven’t heard this in decades. Thanks!

They only made one album that I remember. Don’t know whatever became of them.
