16. Reminds me of when we used to take our retired Greyhounds lure coursing

They LOVED it! A plastic grocery bag running on a zigzagging wire in a big open field, rigged to a car battery. We were in a coursing club and got together one Sunday a month.

The guy in this video is not even running full out--he's just having a good time!

The guys used to have to run the lure at its top limit or our little girl Grey would catch it too. She'd be so excited she'd bite at her leash and cry to be let loose. She'd never raced on the track because she was so fast, she'd race to the head of the practice pack and trip up the others, trying to play. So we got her when she was only a year old. She matured some!

20. According to this video a greyhound runs very much like a cheetah,

and obviously has the same body type - deep chest, narrow head, strong hind legs. Cheetahs are faster mainly because they can increase their stride length more than greyhounds. Nature knows how to build a fast animal!
