(34,108 posts)My husband gave me a set of Cole Porter shows on DVD long ago. It is one of my favorites. I am a total sucker for Cole Porter tunes.

(9,678 posts)I was 11 and my music teacher chose me to sing for this old man who walked with a cane in the 4th grade class of miss Mae Packard, a schoolmate of Cole. I wish I could remember what I sang.

(28,256 posts)There are certainly some I am not fond of but that one gives me goosebumps every time! It is just sublime.
I always watch De-Lovely when it is on if only for the music and John Barrowman. I love Johns voice. He sings Night and Day in it. Ahhhh.
For many years I did not really listen to his songs until I had to play a "Pops" concert with a large dose of Cole Porter tunes. After the first rehearsal I realized I had never really listened to him much or seriously anyway. I have loved his songs ever since. Exception....Be A Clown. I can never get it out of my mind...oops. RATS!

I hope you are enjoying it.
