The whole 'match' took place right next to me. They were really scruffing at each other for quite a while, and Madoc was heading in to help create more chaos. That's his paw in the lower left. And then, all of a sudden, this happened. They stayed in this exact position for several minutes.

(34,095 posts)It looks like I have a new visitor up at my barn. A beautiful buffy colored cat. My barn cat was NOT happy. I put a little food out for it just in case it was hungry but it did not eat. It was still there once my barn cat was put in for the night but they had scuffled and it must not have felt comfortable. It looked like a really pretty and healthy cat so it may just be visiting from a neighbors place. There is always someone up there so I feed them and follow their lead.
Those are such cuties you have. They are always so much fun, so much work too when little but still they make you smile a lot. I am happy you have shared this journey with us. Thank you.

(26,249 posts)They are such sweet, good natured kittens. Madoc and Morgan are sweet and VERY playful, rowdy little fur balls.
And, yes, this has been a lot of work, and not a lot of sleep because 2:30 am seems to now be Sophie Stinky Toes favorite time for attention. But I wouldn't have missed this experience for anything. And I've LOVED sharing it with my friends on DU, and will continue to post about the mischief makers, Morgan and Madoc.

(34,095 posts)letting them go. As a beneficiary of kind, wonderful people who adopt out rescues I still cannot imagine myself ever letting go like they do. You are a wonder and your love exceeds your sadness I suspect. Not me, I wish I could but I am not that strong. Thank you.
