After it was out a few years they did issue a warning that leaving it up on a server could cause a noticeable drop in the performance of actual applications.

I never had Win 95 on a home computer and never used it long enough to need a screen saver so I hadn't seen that before. I went straight from Win 3.1 to XP, but I built a few computers and installed 95 on them since we had copies of it donated - I was rebuilding old computers to give away made from parts of donated broken down computers. But I never had to leave them running long enough to run a screen saver.

I was even working at Microsoft at this time. I can't remember now if it's this screensaver or another that could be tricked into bringing up all the names of the team (including my own).

ETA: That was on Windows NT, so it may not even be this one.
