I figured I'd do one last one in the lounge about the now the official family members.

Any updates on Cinder (formerly Squeaky) and Smokey (formerly Gwenllian) will be in the lounge. Does that make sense? If not, let me know.

Anyway, things are a bit quieter, this morning. Here's the smaller, after breakfast cat lap crowd. I expect any empty space will start to be taken over by these RAPIDLY growing kittens.

1. They are adorable, and definitely growing rapidly.

2. I keep waiting for that warm Squeaky snuggle.

I wondered how they would act, today. So far, they are acting just like they did, yesterday. It's definitely quieter. However, Sophie came into the den and didn't do any swatting when Madoc approached her. So, that's one up side to having just 2 kittens.

Before my friend left for Chicago she was at another friend's house and that friend has a Great Dane. Apparently the kittens tried to intimidate Sirius by hissing up a storm at him. And THOSE are the more timid kittens! I can't imagine what Madoc and Morgan's reaction would have been to that dog.

I'm now anxiously awaiting photos.

5. It's raining so I haven't seen them, this morning

Yesterday was the first I'd seen them since Tuesday, because of the rain. I keep checking to see if they show up and I'll just move the food dishes to some place that ISN'T ponding. We've gotten a LOT of rain.

10. Morgan just tried to curl up on my shoulder. She's too BIG to fit!

They are dividing their day between wrestling and snuggling. Best way to spend a cold, rainy Autumn day.
