As I was pulling into a parking space at Muir woods in 1969, our ears were glued to the AM car radio.
We all exhaled and cheered when we heard Neil Armstrong say the momentous words..."The Eagle has Landed".
Somehow, the grandeur of the redwoods, and the achievements of mortal man that day were a fitting juxtaposition.
