Yes, those two actors we're actually married to each other. The second pilot also had new actors as Mike and Gloria.


1969 - 2nd Pilot - Those Were The Days - 1969

Second unaired pilot (But first to be shown to the public) about a family named Justice that used different actors for the children and their neighbor Lionel.

never saw the first pilot. Quite the breakthrough considering network television at the time.

Penny Marshall was also considered for the role of Gloria.
