(26,251 posts)I kind of worried about him, at first, because he was so tiny. And LOUD, which is why I gave him the temporary name of 'Squeaky'. He kind of resembled a little bat!
I gave him extra attention, fed him kitten milk and water via an eye dropper, made sure his bigger siblings didn't take over his food bowl when the vet said he could start on solid food. That turned out to be a non issue because he dove head and front feet first into the bowl, protecting the food. Then he'd go after theirs!
The day I brought them all in, my friend came to visit and fell INSTANTLY in love with him. We both knew that this would be the ultimate outcome. She also took one of his sisters so he has feline companionship, too.
He is also the sweetest, most loving kitten I've ever seen. I still miss his after breakfast snuggles and chin kisses. He'd curl up on my shoulder and fall asleep.
