(11,024 posts)MC5 with Mark Arm from Mudhoney, David Yow from Jesus Lizard, Evan Dando from Lemonheads, and Marshall Crenshaw trading lead vocal duties.
Henry Rollins and Keith Morris doing an all Black Flag set to benefit the West Memphis 3.
The Germs with some actor who played Darby Crash in a biopic handling the vocals. Pat Smear and Don Bolles were still in the band.

This was with the Rollins Band, but he was doing stuff like TV Party and Rise Above. Then Keith came out and do the earlier stuff.
Im too young to have caught most of them the first time around ( except for that Clash show - my uncle took me to see The Who, and the Clash opened). But that means I got to see interesting reunions.

(5,934 posts)Saw the Talking Heads in a bar around that time. I was bummed out that the bar was so crowded, though, so I didn't go see Blondie or Elvis Costello when they came to the same bar. What an idiot.
I was out of town when The Police played the bar, but my girlfriend went and she said they were good.
