The DU Lounge
Related: Culture Forums, Support ForumsI ordered Thanksgiving dinner from Whole Foods Holiday Meals.
The prices, of course, are high. I have my reasons for catering this year. The Holiday catering went online last night at midnight. Since I was awake, I went ahead and ordered what I wanted.
This is the thing, almost right away things started selling out or becoming unavailable.

(40,212 posts)Complete meals, a la carte, sides, desserts. You can order any configuration you want, if it is still available. They offered a Prime Rib dinner for 8 and Beef Wellington for 4, and both sold out while I was on the site choosing my order. Of course there are many Turkey dinner choices as well as Vegan dinners.
I have ordered this way in the past and it is enough food for more people than listed. Also, all the food was delicious.
I ordered everything a la carte and put together a meal that works for my family because of notoriously picky eaters who won't eat certain things. It was slightly more expensive that way.
You can see all the options at WholeFoods.com at catering/holiday selections.

Obviously I will be helping but he loves to cook! Im sure he will have it all planned out.
Good to know things are selling out. I wasnt planning on flying with a fresh turkey. Hopefully he will be able to find what he needs.
