a good dog for years. Why wouldn't they give her up to find a home, they obviously didn't care about her or wouldn't just leave her chained to a tree.

I think one of the worst things in the world would be to truly love your dog and find yourself in a position of having to give it away for being unable to care for the dog. But you still have to for the good of the dog, no matter how heartbreaking it would be.

On a short chain, to boot? All that cruel time, and yet, this baby never lost its sweetness, and love of life. It's just too painful to think about.

But this baby has a happy ending, thanks to this wonderful young woman. I'm glad they both found each other.

And so sweet. I've said many times, I don't understand people that torture animals.

Happy tails!

My neighborhood walks take me past homes where a pup or two is kept in the back yard. They never or seldom get played with. They never get taken for walks.

When they neighbor complain about their constant barking, they don't know that it is because they are deprived of stimulus in their lives.

Make the animal a part of your life or get busy finding it a home where it can have a full life.

I know it's not as bad as beating or chaining, but that is a low bar to set.
