I've received several emails today re. charge card purchases I never made ...

The strange thing is, they don't appear to be using my charge card account number, or my name, just using my email for contact info. What's that supposed to accomplish ?? Apparently it's not going well, as all the orders get canceled, but I can't figure out the point of using a random email that doesn't match either the shipping address or the purchaser's name! All four were to be shipped to the same address, FWIW.

They want you to give them the account info. Don't respond, but call your credit card company if you are concerned.

It's a recording saying the card I have associated with my Amazon account is being used in some foreign country, and that I should call a number. I never do.
