OMG! my head is vibrating intensely. It tickles, not in a good way.
Thought I would try one, but it is a fail here.

(8,387 posts)Now, I handle it like a brush.
Also, keep your mouth closed and dont take it out while its on, unless you like cleaning the mirror a lot.
It also got a lot easier now that I dont have as many teeth.

(7,396 posts)My teeth are very clean, so that part is good.

(24,051 posts)Mine bothered me initially, but I got used to it, and it definitely cleans better. More of a problem on the front teeth, rather than the molars.

(16,386 posts)I tried an electric toothbrush once and hated the vibration. I simply can't use one.

(25,558 posts)I used a battery operated toothbrush (Crest Spinbrush), but for some reason in 2018, I went out and bought a Sonic Care. It does a better job of cleaning.
My dentist told me to get a battery operated one and it significantly cut down on gingivitis etc. Then I bought the Sonic Care.
It gets well into small spaces and gum lines. Only let the tips of the brushes touch your teeth, gumline etc.

(32,770 posts)I think my AA battery lasts about 5 or 6 months. As it wears down the Sonic doesn't vibrate as much. Since yours is brand new, it probably has a new battery. Like everyone says, you get used to it. I really like mine.
