A peaceful moment for you today

Fall Foliage Around Pittsburgh
https://www.pittsburghbeautiful.com/2017/09/04/5-places-to-check-out-fall-foliage-around-pittsburgh/

The real issue in life is not how many blessings we have but what we do with our blessings. Some people have many blessings and hoard them. Some have few and give everything away.

..taking autumn photos in my area so I'll have lots of to draw, paint over the long winter nights. Can't believe it gets dark at frking 5pm! I feel caged in and with pandemic still a threat..have to limit outings during day...yet can enjoy river trails not to far from my home..enjoy colorful fall foliage of golden cottonwoods that shimmer in the sun that line the rio...which has been a blessing..yet so wanted to travel north past Santa Fe (NM) to see the aspen turn color, leaves quake (love that movement) perhaps next year.

in respects to your photo, have to say, what spectacular vividly awesome scene to have personally seen--nature in all it's glory! The colors..an artists pallette in the making. Then to have a decent camera to capture it all..just a stunning photograph! That's a scene, had I came across with my painters box, easel and array of colorful paints would have been in artistic heaven..trees dripping in shades of a sunset that had somehow fallen onto the leaves..an artists sueno, dream. Ok ..your post got me motivated, going to start pastel drawing of Rio Grande lined with golden cottonwoods, then move to acrylic on canvas using same subject, had taken sample photographs to help with details, like sand cranes that just arrived to bosque (forrest of cottonwoods) along the river- of all the seasons, Fall is by far my favorite it's color, it's crisp air, birds coming from north in haste and perhaps bc of my love for Vivaldi's Autumn..here have a listen
