Andrea Bocelli on PBS, at least locally

What a voice! Of course this is pledge week, or month.

Yesterday was an interesting British documentary about Roy Orbison that we never seen before.

It is around 20 min music and 10 min pledge which we mute.

I am a member, a generous donor. I respond to mail solicitations not to these appeals.

What bugs me is that the common appeal is: Donate if you want to watch programs like this. Except, “programs like this” are shown only with pledge breaks! I would almost prefer commercial breaks. At least they are shorter and not repeat of what one would get for a certain amount of money, again and again.
