(because---I've been encouraged to) Introduce Myself.
My Friends call me "Chris," amongst other things/names.
I live in Denver, Colorado, having grown up in its SW suburb of Littleton.
I also spent "a year" living in Greenwich Village, and "a year" circumnavigating the Globe.
I (like to) believe that I've spent my life Serving: Keeping grounds; Managing and Training 1/3 of a Boy Scout Ranch; Assembling trailers; Stocking chemicals; Waiting on tables; Cooking for others; Swinging a hammer; Painting the insides & outsides of houses; Running a small Business; Teaching (but, uncertified) in both Elementary & Secondary Public Schools (and, for a few weeks, Teaching some [of "my Fellow"] Teachers); Organizing, Founding, and Being the 1st President of a Union; Driving Taxi's; Voice-Dispatching Transportation; Protecting People & Places; and mostly Being underemployed and (sometimes) unemployed.
I've acquired 21-some years of "Formal" Education across a number of Subject Areas including Theater (Acting & Directing); English; Sociology; Public Administration; Jungian & Transpersonal Psychology; and International & Intercultural Communication.
I'm rapidly approaching (but, actively resisting) a pauperish (because of minimal Social Security & never---during our World's 40+ year infatuation with Neoliberalism---having/been offered a 401K, an IRA, or a Pension Plan) Retirement. So...
But, perhaps that's enough (parenthetically speaking[ha!]) for now.
And that leaves me just to say, "Hello," to this Happily Found Forum...
