Covid in one arm, flu in the other.
My arms ache, my head hurts, and I have chills and fever.
I had no problems with the 2 original shots in May.
Called in sick, going back to bed.

(5,128 posts)Chicken soup has kept me going for the last couple of years.
If you were near, I'd make sure you had some.
Wishing you well.
Hang tight.

(16,829 posts)I don't have chicken soup, I'm vegetarian. It does sound good though.
I have a bowl of hot oatmeal with blueberries. Should warm me up.

(2,244 posts)I took a little nap on the afternoon of the second day, and when I woke up an hour or so later, I knew right away I'd turned the corner. More of a reaction to the booster than to either of the first two shots, don't know why. Hopefully you'll be back to feeling normal in no time, and well-protected to boot.
I guess it would have been better to do this on Friday so as not to miss work.
But I thought I would be ok.
I guess we've had the same experience.

(2,244 posts)I timed the booster for a few free days just in case, and very glad I did. Hopefully you don't work weekends and have the couple days to feel better and when Monday rolls around, you'll feel very normal. The fatigue didn't hang around any longer than the other symptoms, it's kinda interesting how fast it disappears when your body says okay, we're all good here!

(47,119 posts)For three days. Hope yours go quicker.
But it beats going to the hospital and being intubated or dying.

(1,301 posts)No symptoms whatsoever except a sore arm. Same with my husband who had Pfizer.
Hope you feel better soon.

(21,132 posts)I am mostly tired, groggy, and have a headache along with a sore arm. I've had pretty similar reactions each time.

(22,897 posts)Since I did not have any side effects from the two original shots, I figured I didnt need to worry about the booster.
hah
Of course I didnt have two at once, even so, with just the booster I felt lousy.
Youll feel better before too long. Good luck!
