Cool (and old!) Snopes article on where Christmas traditions come from

From 1999 but obviously still true.........

I'll bet you the "war on Christmas" crowd has no idea the pagan roots of these traditions..... they probably think Jesus was born under a Christmas tree.

And Jesus was born under a Christmas tree, and from the looks of him in all the pictures I've seen he was either Danish or Irish.
