Me?
I've become rather addicted to olive oil. On pasta, on sandwiches, on salad, on bread, frying my eggs in--I have absolutely love the stuff. And I'll apply it extremely liberally.
Dare I say I could drink it straight from the bottle if I really wanted to. Of course, that would be silly and I would never actually do that...or would I?

(36,478 posts)I have my faves that I use over & over, but I have a trove of new stuff I'll probably never use. I just can't resist a palette of watercolors or a set of glitter pens or a new set of brushes.

(36,478 posts)Kevin O'Leary of Shark Tank fame, collects olive oil. I've been very happy with California Olive Ranch brand that I can get at my local grocer. I also got a couple of bottles from Costco that were really nice.

(42,566 posts)Apparently theres a widespread problem in the industry (at least at the time he wrote the book) with even well-known brands mixing in inferior or even rancid oils. California Olive Ranch got high marks from him at the time. I havent revisited the issue since I read the book, probably should. Heres a short article that summarizes the problem:
