What is the most important thing to you about Christmas/the holidays?

Being with my mom will be the most important to me, though I admit I also enjoy many of the others in my poll.

I am 80, disabed, homebound, and live alone. No family, no gifts, nothing different.

something. All of the Christmas cheer is exterior. Glitzy and bright and not much else. If I could I would stop by on Christmas Day and visit. 😊

I've found there are more of us then one would think. We're not Scrooges;we just think it has become total BS dedicated to rampant materialism.

Heck, I love gifts! 🎁
I'm also serious 👍 about picking out good gifts for my family, and friends.

I also 💖 love decorating, and seeing others! 🎄🎀🎄
Some of the songs; fun & serious ones, too.

Though I find it’s the idea that counts more than the cost. I like the decorating, bowl games, and music a lot. The religious aspect is also fun to study even though I am more spiritual than religious.

it's will it delight the person whether something fun, interesting, pretty, or useful that they can't currently afford.

I'm an ex Catholic. Spiritual now.

...have literally...well it's complicated, but I don't see this church acting in anything like Christ these days. So I keep my fire lit in my closet.
